Simple Smoked Chicken on the Big Green Egg

Ingredients

  • A whole chicken (about 4 pounds)
  • 1 chicken Turbo Trusser
  • Shaker of your favorite chicken rub. 

Directions

  1. Rinse the chicken inside and out in cold running water. Drain.
  2. Pat dry on the cutting board. Cut off any excess fat.
  3. Preheat your Big Green Egg or grill to 350℉.
  4. Attach the Turbo Trusser to the Chicken 
  5. Sprinkle favorite rub on the outside and inside of the chicken. Gently pat it in 
  6. Put your trussed chicken in the Big Green Egg or grill for 1.5 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  7. Pull chicken from Big Green Egg or grill and serve.
